Bio

Born in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine and raised in Philadelphia,  Olia Varda is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in New York City. 

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Art History and Museum Professions, Varda works across photography, printmaking, and painting. Her background in acting informs her artistic practice, shaping a deeply intuitive approach to image-making.

Varda’s work is not tied to a singular moment or era; instead, it seeks to exist beyond time, as an exploration of consciousness, emotion, and presence.
